After more than a decade working in radio, Rob Stone is bringing a lifelong passion for music to the forefront of his career.
A Michigan native, Stone grew up surrounded by music, with records constantly spinning at home from artists like Jimi Hendrix, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Bob Seger, Supertramp, and Willie Nelson. Growing up in the Detroit area also exposed him to the city’s deep musical heritage, from the soul of Motown Records to genre-blending hometown icons like Kid Rock and Eminem. Those influences helped shape Stone’s sound, which is a blend of country, rock, and soul which he calls “Classic Rock Country”.
After sharing early recordings online and performing locally, Rob began gaining attention from touring artists passing through Detroit. Performers including Uncle Kracker, Locash, Bryan Martin and more have invited him to open their Detroit-area shows, introducing his music to live audiences across the region.
Known for energetic performances and a style that blends country storytelling with rock-driven instrumentation, Stone continues to build momentum as both a songwriter and performer. His music is available on all major streaming platforms, and he is currently in the studio recording his first full-length album
